A quirky abstract painter and sculptor, Don developed a technique for creating gorgeous earrings, each of which is a tiny abstract painting.
The Artists
The other artist at Lucky Dog is Don's wife, Carey Holman. After an enjoyable career in Information Technology, Carey is now free to explore her creative side. She's happiest when she's "making stuff".
Always obsessed with details, Carey has developed and refined the process for making these beautiful bangle bracelets using images from Don's abstract paintings.
Why "Lucky Dog"?
Over the years we have shared our home with a parade of strays and shelter refugees, fostering several to give them respite from a shelter environment or while they underwent medical treatment to get healthy enough for a Forever Home. They have brought us so much joy, we're not sure whether it's them or us who are the Lucky Dogs.
